Orders are now being accepted, with deliveries scheduled to begin in late January.
The Gd-153 line source is a critical component used in Auto QC workflows for Siemens Healthineers Symbia Intevo and Pro.specta SPECT/CT scanners, supporting head alignment calibration, head alignment verification, and extrinsic sweep verification. The return of this product restores an essential element of routine quality control for imaging facilities worldwide.
Two configurations are now available for ordering: the 10 mCi Gd-153 line source (HEGL-0133) and the 20 mCi Gd-153 line source (HEGL-0151). Both products have undergone testing and validation to confirm performance and compatibility with applicable systems, supporting consistent and reliable quality control operations in clinical environments.
The prior interruption in availability resulted from broader isotope supply challenges affecting the global market.
